A LITTLE ABOUT ME...
My love for art began early, surrounded by creativity. My grandfather was a self-taught portrait artist, my father is also a painter, and my parents explored pottery together as a hobby. They even tried their hand at turning it into a small business through their Christian bookstore. While the venture wasn’t a lasting success, it was a joyful experience that showed me the beauty of pursuing what you love. Most importantly, they always encouraged my creativity.

At 16, with little guidance and a lot of ambition, I began painting murals in my family home. That was when I knew my calling was to be a professional artist.

I earned a BFA from Texas State University in 1996 and started a career in graphic design, eventually founding my own design company. Alongside my client work, I continued to explore fine art until, in 2004, I developed my signature Textural Weave technique—a fusion of painting, weaving, and sculpting that remains central to my work today. I also create whimsical illustrations and greeting cards, which allow me to share a more playful side of my creativity.
My paintings have been shown throughout the Texas Hill Country and were represented by Ao5 Gallery in Austin from 2012–2016. Today, I continue to exhibit regionally while developing new collections.
I live and work in Johnson City, Texas, inspired daily by the rugged beauty of the Hill Country and grateful to create art that connects with others.
